You may be able to come up with a method of building your Jus business that works just fine for you. To harness the exponential power of Duplication, what you need is a method that works for EVERYONE.If you use and teach a simple, duplicable system, your group will grow without you. Simple. Duplicable. Something that when the prospect sees the IBO doing it, they think, “That’s it? Any boob can do that!” This system doesn’t rely on expertise of any kind. The less like an expert the IBO appears to be, the more easily the prospect can imagine themselves in their place.
One exception: the appropriate time to be an expert is when you are the person giving the answers on the 3-way call.
If your group relies on your brilliant presentations and encyclopedic knowledge, and they bring all their prospects to you so you can dazzle them, you could still have an okay business. You will work harder for it, and a lot of people won’t join because what you’re doing looks too difficult for them to learn. But some people will still join; they’ll just rely on you to do the hard parts for them.
You will, however, miss out on all of what makes network marketing so dynamic and unlimited in potential. And you’ll rob the people in your group of the chance to experience that potential. There’s only so much you can do. But your entire group can do infinitely more, especially if they are each teaching their people to build their own teams with a duplicable system. And so on, and so forth… forever.
